Incredible Wings

Dave 0

"This is a variation on traditional Buffalo wings that I have developed over the past few years. I decided to call them Incredible Wings since everyone who tries them tells me they are the most incredible wings theyve ever tasted. I get many requests for the recipe, so I thought I would just put it online. They take a little effort, but they are worth it."

  1. 1. Place chicken wings in a large pan and roast in oven at 250 for at least one hour. This will thaw the wings and start the cooking process. It also gets rid of excess fat and juices that would cause flare-ups on the grill.
  2. 2. Melt margarine in a large bowl and mix in remaining ingredients.
  3. 3. Put the wings on the grill at low heat and turn occasionally. Cook until wings are golden brown. You can speed up the process by using medium heat and watching closely. Stir wings into sauce immediately after removing from grill. Once wings are coated, remove and place in a baking dish.
  4. 4. They can be eaten at this point, but to make them even better, place the uncovered baking dish in oven set at 250 for about an hour.
  5. Note: To make a double batch, add C margarine, 1/3 C Hot sauce, and 1 t. lemon juice to the sauce after dipping the first 4 pounds of wings and repeat steps 3 & 4. This recharges the sauce and tastes better than just mixing everything together in the beginning.
