Decadent Chocolates Truffles

JAQATAC

"Very Easy - 3 ingredients! plus the toppings of your choice. WARNING: Only make these when large groups of people are coming to your house or you are bringing them elsewhere - they are dangerous! I have made this for parties and had to email the recipe to everyone... they are always a hit! I make the chocolate one night, let it cool in the fridge. The next day I roll the balls and leave them in the fridge until ready to serve (at least one hour) They keep for 2-3 weeks in the fridge just fine... These are sooo easy. My mother made these for me and I thought she was this amazing"

  1. 1. melt chips with condensed milk.
  2. (Use a Double Boiler - if you do not have one, put a small amount of water in a pan, and put a large pyrex of glass mixing bowl over it - but be sure not to let it touch the water)
  3. 2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla (or other flavour of your choice)
  4. 3. chill 2 hours or until firm. (I chill for 1-2 hours on the counter and then 3 hours to overnight in the fridge.)
  5. 4. Shape into 1-2 cm or 1/2 inch balls and roll in any of the coatings (We like coconut or cocoa powder the best)
  6. 3. Chill 1 hour or until firm and enjoy.
  7. 4. This recipe makes enough for two large dishes - I keep them in the fridge covered with plastic wrap.
