  1. 1. Place all ingredients except the optionals in the bread pan in the order listed, or how your manufacturer suggests.
  2. 2. Select wholemeal setting, light crust, 1 1/2 lb loaf size. Press start.
  3. 3. Just before the bake cycle starts (about one hour before the end) brush the loaf with any, all or none of the optional ingredients.
