  1. l. Heat the oil in a large deep saucepan.
  2. 2. Add the rice and cook until just turning opaque. Add the onion, pepper, cumin, and cilantro. Cook on low heat for 2 more minutes.
  3. 3. Add the hot sauce, broth, tomatoes, and beans. Bring to a boil. Cover and let simmer for about 45 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed.
