  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a large bowl, beat butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Stir in flour to blend well. To use with cookie cutters, refridgerate for 20-30 minutes. No refridgeration necessary to use with the cookie press. Place cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet for 10-15 minutes or until a hint of brown appears. These cookies are so yummy that they don't need frosting! (Try making snowmen with this recipe...they plump up!)
