  1. 1.Slice bacon into small pieces and sauté in a large frying pan on med-high setting until crisp. Using slotted spoon remove bacon from pan while leaving 1-2 tablespoons of the bacon grease behind.
  2. 2. Add garlic and red pepper flakes to the bacon grease and cook for 1 minute. Then add green beans, salt and pepper to taste. Cook until tender but firm about 10-15 minutes.
  3. 3. Add bacon back to pan and serve.
