  1. 1. Combine dry ingredients for cake in a large mixing bowl; add buttermilk, butter, and eggs. Beat at low speed with an electric mixer until moistened; beat at medium speed 3 minutes.
  2. 2. Pour batter into a greased and floured 13 X 9 X 2 inch pan.
  3. 3. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter.
  4. 4. Cover with foil and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours.
  5. 5. Uncover and bake at 350 degrees until a wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm.
