  1. 1. Process all ingredients in food processor just until smooth. (Or beat in med. bowl with hand beater until smooth.) Add a tablespoon or two of milk for thinner pancakes.
  2. 2. Grease heated griddle with butter, shortening or oil. (To see if griddle is hot enough, sprinkle with a few drops of water. If bubbles skitter around, heat is just right.)
  3. 3. For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot griddle.
  4. 4. Cook until pancakes are puffed and dry around edges. Turn and cook other sides until golden brown. Serve with syrup and butter. Also good with applesauce.
