"This recipe is from one of my favourite cookbooks that I changed around a bit. It's super easy and worth the wait. I'm a thirteen year old and my parents ask for this recipe a lot. It's simply delish served with corn or a salad. Adjust the Tabasco to your own tastes."

  1. 1. Chop onion. Finally chop garlic. Heat oil in pan over medium-high heat. Cook garlic and onion for about 1 min. Add beef; cook until brown.
  2. 2. Stir in remaining ingredients except beans and celery, including the juice from the tomatoes. Bring to the boil; reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 1 hr.
  3. 3. Very roughly chop celery; add to pan with kidney beans, including liquid. Bring to the boil; reduce heat to low, Cover and simmer for 15-20 mins.
