"I got this recipe from my mom. It is one of the easiest crisp recipes I have seen, and it tastes great. If you're looking for a quick dessert and have a bunch of apples on hand I highly recommend it."

  1. grease an 8 inch gratin dish. Place apples in dish.
  2. Mix flour, sugar and oats. Cut butter in small pieces and add to flour/sugar/oat mixture. Add cinnamon and vanilla. Sprinkle over apples and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
