May we suggest



  1. 1 C. Sugar
  2. 1 stick of butter or margarine
  3. 4 eggs
  4. 1 large can of Hershey's syrup
  5. 1 C flour
  6. Pour onto a cookie sheet. (Note to a novice baker: You must use a cookie sheet with at least 1 inch depth and SIDES. Obviously (?) not a flat "air bake-type cookie sheet.)
  7. Mix the ingredients in any order.
  8. Bake At 350 for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Allow to cool before frosting.
  10. Frosting:
  11. 6 T. of butter or margaring
  12. 6 T. milk
  13. 1 1/4 C sugar
  14. Mix and boil 3 minutes, then add 1 Cup chocolate chips. Stir on low heat until melted and well mixed. Frost immediately so frosting does not cool and harden.
  15. Variation: These are really good with mint flavoring or mint chocolate chips added or substituted.
