Combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Into the well add oil, eggs, sugar, grated pears, pecans and vanilla. Stir only until moistened.
Grease and flour 2 (8-by-5-by-3-inch) loaf pans. Spoon batter into pans, dividing it evenly. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until tests done. Cool before removing from the pans.
