  1. Preheat oven to 375° F. Grease a muffin tin. Mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, chili powder, and cumin seed in a large bowl. Add egg, oil, and milk, stir to make a batter.
  2. Pour or spoon batter into the prepared muffin tin.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a muffin comes out clean.
