Fresh Spinach
Despite its dramatic effect on a certain cartoon sailor, spinach is the leafy green that gets no respect. Of course, Popeye only ate spinach from a can--fresh spinach is a completely different story. Practically defining the term "super food," it adds color and taste to any meal, whether sauteed, wilted, or mixed with other vegetables as a salad. Check out Allrecipes for all the spinach recipes you need to take on Bluto--without the can opener.

Submitted By: NM Dawn I used to live in Sicily, and these stuffed rice balls were a favorite of mine! 'Arancini' means 'Little Oranges' in Italian, named so because the little breaded rice balls resemble small oranges.
Submitted By: RCKim With flavors reminiscent of Morocco and Mexico, this easy yet richly-flavored stew contains loads of chicken, vegetables, and some surprising spices! If desired, pass lime wedges to squeeze over individual servings.
Submitted By: teenbeauty I like using Cripp, Braeburn, or Gala apples in this yummy salad!
Submitted By: JULIAJOHNSON Slightly sweet and very creamy, this is a wonderful addition to any meal, and an easy way to get your kids to eat their veggies!
Submitted By: QueenofSuburbs This recipe starts with making a shortbread crust to serve as the base for a lemon-flavored cheesecake covered with a blueberry topping.
