It's time to party like a couch potato!
For a slight twist on the TV party theme, choose a movie in which the plot involves a TV show:
Classic TV Dinner
Go retro with a spread inspired by the first TV Dinners introduced by Swanson in 1954. Choices included meatloaf, fried chicken, Salisbury steak, or turkey--each accompanied by potatoes and peas. (And we couldn't help but add some all-American desserts.)
Pick a few fun appetizers for a lighter evening snack.
Everyone can eat dinner at their own home, but tell them to save room for dessert! When guests arrive, they can dig in to the dessert buffet before cozying up in front of the small screen.
