Infused Vinegars, Condiments and Flavorings

Flavored vinegars will keep for six months or more.

Home Canning

Marmalades, chutneys and preserves make wonderful gifts, and are a welcome change from richer sweets.

Hot Drink Mixes

Attractive jars of cocoa mix, hot tea and coffee drinks tied with colorful ribbon are lovely as host/hostess gifts or tucked into a gift basket or Christmas stocking.

Cookie Mixes in a Jar

Layer the dry ingredients in a one-quart wide-mouth canning jar so that each layer is distinct. The ingredients should have different colors and textures for the best contrast. Include the recipe and baking directions on the label or gift tag.

This is nother real good batch of recipes, I did not put them in jars for the cookies and brownies I make them complete and the family liked them. The drinks or pancake waffle mixes I do put in jars or pastic containers and I also want to try some of these new soup recipes as it mostly serves 4 so two meals each for me and my elderly Dad that will be quick to fix and to reheat for next Day.
