    I am trying to find the recipe for a light and airy roll that I had at a restaurant in Branson. The roll was lightly fried and delicious. I have searched and searched and cannot find one that even comes close.

    I am looking for a Weight Watchers recipe from years ago. It was for macaroni and cheese. It had buttermilk, mushrooms, eggs ,cheese,mustard and of course the macaroni.It made 2 servings and it was very good. I made it quite often but I forget the quantities of each ingredients. I appreciate any help.

    Used canned biscuits and fry inabout 1 inchoil till brown on one side , then flip over , cook till golden brown, drain on paper towel, roll in granulated sugar. How easy is that!

    For Shirley I also had to do a recipe for punch with a light blue theme. I used blueberry kool-aid, white grape/peach juice and pineapple juice. I used a running fountain so I could not use soda or ice cream sherbet. It turned out real well. Beautiful light blue color. Hopes this helps.

    Bonnie, a fun game would be to make cards with halloween characters/costumes on each separate card (Dracula, Frankenstein, a witch, Jack the Ripper, etc.) Pin or tape a card on your guests' backs. Throuhout the course of the evening they have to ask questions to guess "who" they are (Am I a female? Do I wear a cape? Am I alive?) Have fun!

    I have a recipe for What Is It, for bkeel. 1C Mayo, 1 1/2C drained green olives, 2C grated cheddar cheese and 1T. pepper Spread on split english muffins and broil till warm. Diane

    Hi, Bonnie- A great game for a Halloween Party is 'Poison Candy'. Spread various wrapped candies on the floor and the kids are in a circle around it. The child whose turn it is leaves the room and the other children agree on a piece of the candy that is 'Poison'. The 'it' child re-enters the room, sits and chooses candy one piece at a time. If it is a safe piece, the group says 'still alive'. The child keeps the candy she picks and keeps choosing until she picks the 'Poison' piece. Really fun game. The kids love it and a great way to fill their goodie bags inexpensively! Jeanie

    I'm looking for a recipe I found in college for Wheat-germ bars. They are made w/sweetened condensed milk, graham crackers, choc. chips, salt, wheat germ and either baking soda or powder. I lost the recipe, and I'm not positive on the measures for each ingredient, but they are awesome.

    I am looking for a baked rice pudding that bakes in a water bath and separates with rice at bottom of casserole and an egg custard in top. My mother used to make this and I cannot find it anywhere.

    ldl - Might you have had a beignet? Here's a link to an Allrecipes recipe. The beignets I've had were in Texas - very light, dusted with granulated sugar, not powdered. I've also had plain beignets. They can also be filled with fruit, vegies, meats, or seafood. (See Wikipedia.)

    We finaly joined and have found everything that we were looking for. We love it and look forward to sharing, eating, socializing and truly enjoying the receipes from allrecipes with our families. Have a groovy time cooking everybody!!

    I live in Branson, and the only place I know of that has a fried roll is a little place us locals love to eat at. I have a friend (cook) who works there, and I am told that the roll they use is a basic Dinner roll recipe (special family recipe) basically the rolls are baked but are not allowed to fully brown on top. When rools are done baking they are deep fried untill golden brown - When they are removed from the oil, a "pat" of COLD butter is pressed in the center and served hot... These are really great rolls they are the best!!

    I love Allrecipes, I have found a lot of recipes that my mom made when I was younger, wich made me very hapy ecause my mom ha fgotten how to make most of her specalities. She doesn't mke trhem anymor because all of us kids havemoved out and it's just her and my dad, not really worth makinfg them anymore. So thanks Allrecips!!

    I am a fan of AllRecipes like the others but, living in the UK, find it difficult to make many of the recipes because they contain product brands and/or names of ingredients which are either not sold in the UK or called something else. It would be great if, in addition to being able to select US or European/UK measurements, the same could be done for the actual ingredients.

    Does anyone have a clever suggestion for appetizers with a BBQ theme. I am helping put together appetizers for an event with a music theme. BBQ was suggested to compliment the music theme. The food will set out at room temperature with periodic stocking. My first thought was chicken wings, but the thought of guests wondering what to do with the bones are a turn off. Inexpensive, no plate required, pick it up and eat it suggestions would be welcomed.

    @ Freda:::: My daughter gave me this Fiesta Salsa recipe and it's my favorite. 7 c chopped tomatoes 2 c chopped & peeled cucumber 1 c chopped scallions 1 habenero(optional) 1/2 c chopped jalopeno 3 garlic cloves chopped 1tsp salt 1/2 c cider vinegar 2 tbsp lime juice cook to boil and can be canned and processed in a 15 water bath... I also have added a packet of salsa seasoning to this,or just add oregano,garlic salt,onion powder etc...

    A great recipe for appetizers is bacon wrapped water chestnuts. Just cook bacon until almost done, wrap around water chestnut & fasten with a tooth pick, bake (on foil) in 350 oven until crisp. These can be frozen for 2 weeks or more, then reheat in oven until warm.Easy to use for a few or a crowd. No need to marinate or anything else...Delicious as is.

    Not sure what section to post this in, but does anybody know what Applebee's puts in their mashed potato's those things are soooo good, I have seen a recipe on the food network like that where you boil 5 whole garlic cloves right in with potatoes and then mash it all together and add butter and heavy cream, taste almost like Applebee's but something is missing, can't put my finger on it though?...

    jadedkrystals: Try cream cheese, butter, and milk. I usually make 8-10 larger potatoes and use 1/2 of a large block of cream cheese, you can always add more to taste. (I also boil the garlic in with the potatoes) We LOVE mashed potatoes!!

    For garlic mashed potatoes, you need to split an entire head of garlic, paper and all, in half through the middle. Wrap in heavy foil, drizzle with EVOO, bake at 350* for 45 minutes. Cook potatoes, drain. Remove natural paper from garlic And squeeze garlic cloves into potatoes and mash as uasual. Remember that you must add seasoning (salt & pepper) to any good dish. Salt is your basic seasoning for everything; even a pinch in sweet things makes them better. Midwayusa

    When a recipe calls for pecans, always...repeat, always pan roast them with a pinch of butter, sugar and salt until lightly brown. Everything you use them in is better. I roast mine as soon as I buy them so they are fresh, then use what I need and place the remainder in a freezer ziplock, and the freeze, using what a recipe calls for right from the freezer. You'll notice a big difference, I promise. Midwayusa

    Hi jadedkrystals, heres the recipe for Applebee's garlic mashed potatoes-place 1 garlic bulb, unpeeled on a sheet of aluminum foil and wrap tightly. Roast in preheated 400 degree F oven for approx 45 min until soft. Unwrap and let cool. Peel the cloves and squeeze out the pulp. Wash and rinse 2 pounds red potatoes under cold water. Halve or quarter. Cook in a lg pot at slow boil for approx 20 min. Remove and drain in a colander. In a lg bowl, combine potatoes and roasted garlic with 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 cup heavy cream, 3 tbsp butter, salt & pepper to taste and mash with a potato masher. Serve warm. Good Luck.

    Have driveway full of teenage boys playing basketball. (Regularly) Need snack and drink ideas that are healthy, plentiful and not bank breaking! Love having them here and don't want them running up to the neighborhood grill for sodas and greasy pizza.

    Does anyone have a recipe for Santiago Skillet? It was served in the old JoJo's restaurant in Chicago. It contains ground beef, scrambled eggs, onions, and chives. There are other ingredients and I just cannot get it right!

    My mom used to make a fish recipe that she got on the back of a frozen fillet of sole or flounder box. It was very simple and had milk, crackers and parsley, but no cheese. I have looked for it for years now, and even got on line and looked up every frozen fish company to see their websites for recipes. If anyone could help, I would be eternally grateful. Thanks.     Hey cconcc the recipe for the Red Coach Grill Cheese Appetizer is: 1lb Mozzorella shredded 1C Mayo 1 small onion minced 1 can green chilies chopped finely combine ingredients bake @ 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes serve with crackers....
