  1. Blend 3 egg yolks in the blender until well mixed. Add sugar and cocoa and blend until smooth. Add cream a little at a time, beating well after each addition. Chill mixture in refrigerator.
  2. Freeze in canister of ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions.
  3. When thickened add in "mix-ins".
