In a small bowl whip egg whites to soft peaks; set aside
In a large bowl combine cottage cheese, oats, oat bran, onion seasoning and dried thyme. Fold in egg whites, then form mixture into patties using a 1/4 cup for consistent size and thickness. Place patties on a plate and put in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place patties in oil; brown on both sides (approx. 3 minutes per side). Remove patties to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Pour condensed soup into a small bowl. Stir in milk to dilute, then pour over patties.
Bake in a preheated oven until the soup is bubbly, about 20 minutes.
