I get asked to make this for different events throughout the year and I always bring home an empty bowl!

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the broccoli, onion, bacon and whatever fruit you choose.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the vinegar, sugar and mayonnaise.
  3. Pour sparingly over the broccoli mixture, CAREFUL not to add too much. Toss until well mixed.(Adding too much of the dressing will make this recipe soupy and soggy.)
  4. Refrigerate for at least two hours.
  5. Before serving, toss salad with sunflower seeds.
