Mini smoked sausages disappear extra quickly when blanketed in crisp bacon and topped with a brown-sugar glaze.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cut bacon into thirds and wrap each strip around a little sausage. Arrange smokies in an oven proof dish with sides at least two inches high. Smother smokies with brown sugar. Cover and "marinade" over night.
  2. Bake uncovered approximately 40-45 minutes until bacon is crisp and the brown sugar melted.


Great recipe and very easy. I roll the smokies with bacon in advance and freeze. The day before I plan to serve the dish, I defrost in the fridge and "cake" on the brown sugar until smokies ar...
