This is a nice alternative to hot chocolate. To make this more healthy, substitute the 2% milk and sugar for skim milk and a no calorie sweetener.

  1. Pour the milk into a microwave-safe mug; stir in sugar, then stir in the vanilla. Place mug in the microwave and heat for 1 minute and 40 seconds, or longer for a warmer drink. Sprinkle with nutmeg; add cinnamon stick and stir again before drinking.
