  1. Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Let cake cool before frosting.
  2. For the frosting: In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth, then fold in whipped topping and mix until smooth. Spread on top of cooled cake.
  3. Top with sliced fresh fruits, such as strawberries, kiwi, peaches, pineapple, blueberries, etc.
