Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Browned ground beef seasoned with a package of taco seasonings is combined in a slow cooker with canned beans, tomatoes, and green chilies. Serve with tortilla chips and a dollop of sour cream.

  1. In a medium skillet, cook the ground beef and onion until browned over medium heat. Add 1 cup of water to the meat and onion mixture and stir in the pack and a half of taco seasoning mix and let mixture thicken slightly pour into crock pot. Add the rest of the ingrediants put crock pot mix and set on low and let cook for about 8 hours stirring every so often and add a little more water if its not the right consistancy for soup. Top with crushed tortilla chips, dollop of sour cream and sharp cheddar cheese.
