Very moist cake. This cake is very dense make sure your frosting is very thick as the cake is very delicate and can fall apart. You can substitute chocolate milk for the water and coffee.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 3 9" round pans.
  2. Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and soda. Add mayonnaise, cold water, and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pans.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), 30-35 minutes. Frost if desired.
