This tastes very close to the taco seasoning favored by a very popular fast-food taco restaurant. You can make this at home, and let your family prepare tacos the way they like.

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the corn flour, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder,paprika, cumin,salt, and sugar. Blend in the onion, bouillon, and ground red pepper, stirring until all spices are well blended.
  2. In a sauce pan combine water and tomato sauce, add the ground beef and stir till it is in fine pieces. I use my hand to mash the meat in with the liquids.
  3. Add the seasoning. Bring to a boil, Reduce heat to low and simmer for about one hour or until the mixture in thick.
