Creamy Dill Cucumber Toasties

This simple but tasty appetizer takes its cue from English tea sandwiches -this time, atop crusty baguette slices with a creamy spread.

Original recipe yields 30 servings

  1. Place bread slices on cookie sheet and broil in oven for about 2-3 minutes per side. Set aside to cool.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, dressing mix, sour cream, garlic powder, thyme, 1 tsp. dill.
  3. Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture on a slice of bread, and top with a slice of cucumber. Sprinkle with dill.
