Slow Cooker Thanksgiving Turkey

Throw this together before work in your slow cooker, and come home to the smells of Thanksgiving! This could not be any easier. Just whip up a few side dishes and you're set!

Original recipe yields 12 servings

  1. Slice the onions into 3/8 inch slices and keep slices whole.
  2. Spray a slow cooker with cooking spray. Place turkey in the slow cooker. Season with garlic pepper. Lace the bacon over the turkey to keep in moisture, and layer onions over the whole turkey.
  3. In a bowl, mix the bacon, gravy, flour, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and sage. Pour over turkey in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover slow cooker, and cook turkey 8 hours on Low.
  5. Remove breast and serve, using juices to make delicious gravy.
