  1. Place a slow cooker liner bag in a slow cooker.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the cranberry sauce, salad dressing, and onion.
  3. Rub salt, pepper and garlic powder into pork and place in the slow cooker, and cover with the sauce mixture.
  4. Cover, and cook on High for 4 hours, or on Low for 8 hours.
  5. Pork is done when the internal temperature has reached 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
  6. Lift bag out of cooker, hold it over a large saute pan and cut open one corner and let the liquid pour into the pan.
  7. Place pork roast on a platter and tent with foil to keep warm.
  8. Turn up the heat under the pan and let the sauce come to a boil.
  9. Meanwhile, mix together the cornstarch and water and pour into the boiling liquid. Boil for a couple of minutes, then turn down burner to a simmer and let cook until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  10. Serve with white rice and a green salad.

WOW!! The Hub said this was one of the best dishes he has EVER eaten! Of course, he is a sucker for a sweet sauce, but still. . .I have to admit that it was fabulous—thanks, Dawn, for sharing....
