Mama's Modified Crock Pot Apple Butter

Making this spread in a slow cooker takes just a moment of effort and makes it possible to enjoy the flavors of fall all winter long. The delicious smell alone is worth the effort. Better than any air freshener by far. I took the advice on a couple reviews and cut the sugar & cinnamon in half. I also added ground ginger to spice it up a bit. The cooking time really depends on your cooker. Mine runs hot so it didn't take 12 hours.
