Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin With Brown Sugar Glaze and Apples

This is my modified version of Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin. The brown sugar helps to cut the tannins in the vinegar while the apple imparts additional flavor to the pork.

  1. Dissolve steak seasoning in balsamic vinegar, then stir in olive oil. Place pork into a resealable plastic bag and pour marinade overtop. Squeeze out air and seal bag; marinate 2 - 4 hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  3. Mix water and brown sugar until semi disolved.
  4. Cut apple into slices and place around pork loin (touching the meat) in a glass dish, along with marinade. Brush glaze on to loin and cook for 1 hour or until loin reaches 140 degrees F.
