Please!!! No butter substites!!! Half a stick of REAL butter makes this easy dish a fabulous dish. I read somewhere that many butter "sub" formulas are only molecules away from being plastic. That can't, possibly, be good for you!

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and toss to thoroughly coat the potatoes. Place seasoned potatoes on a large piece of heavy duty aluminum foil. Create a packet by folding the foil over the potatoes and tightly sealing all the edges. Try to keep the potatoes in one layer in the foil packet. Place the packet on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven until potatoes are tender and easily pierced with a fork, 55 minutes to 1 hour. Place the packet in a bowl and casrefully open packet, away from your face, to avoid painful steam burns. Packet can also be made on a BBQ grill. Place on grill and turn once after 25 minutes and grill for an additional 20 to 25 minutes. Do not turn packet after piercing foil to check for doneness. You will lose all the delicious cooking juices.

This is good but an easier version is to use Italian dressing.
