This pumpkin butter is an excellent hostess present, and is a wonderful spread for toast and muffins. It can also be used to make a spectacular holiday dessert, Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake.

  1. Preheat oven to 250*
  2. Combine pumpkin, apple juice, spices, and sugar in abowl; stir well.
  3. Pour mixture into a 9x13 baking pan and place in oven.
  4. Cook, stirring every 15 minutes until the pumpkin butter is thick, browned and the consistancy you like.
