  1. Line cookie sheet with waxed paper (I put waxed paper directly on counter tops) Pre-mix oats and nuts and set aside.
  2. Evaporated milk can be made with 1/3 cup powdered milk and 1/3 cup water.
  3. Mix sugar, milk and butter or margarine over low heat and bring to a boil. Stir in chocolate. Remove from heat and add peanut butter and vanilla until blended. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  4. Drop QUICKLY by tablespoons onto cookie sheet. If mixture becomes too stiff, stir in 1 to 2 drops milk. Refrigerate about 30 minutes or until firm.
