  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Lightly grease a large baking dish.
  3. I like to use Crisco butter spray.
  4. In a large pot of salted water, lightly boil the macaroni for about 5 minutes until half-cooked.
  5. Melt butter, stir in flour to make a roux (thicken). Add milk and stir thoroughly while adding cheese to melt. Pour mixture into macaroni and mix well.
  6. Place in the prepared baking dish.
  7. I like to add crushed potato chips to cover top, then more shredded cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered, for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the top is brown.


Cook the macaroni noodles as directed. Heat milk, add cheese and mix til melted. Then cool about 1/2 cup mixture and add to eggs. This prevents curdling. Return egg mixture to milk/cheese and mi...
