'I received the recipe for these yummy wings from a cousin on Vancouver Island during a visit there a few years ago,' relates Joan Airey of Rivers, Manitoba. 'They're an appealing appetizer, but also a favorite for Sunday lunch with rice and a salad.'
Cut chicken wings into three sections; discard wing tip section. Season chicken with garlic and onion powder. Place in a greased broiler pan. Combine barbecue sauce, honey and soy sauce. Bake, uncovered, at 400 for 20 minutes, turning halfway. Add sauce to meat and then bake at 350 degrees F for 30-40 minutes or until chicken juices run clear. Broil for few minutes on each side in the end to crisp glaze.
