Original recipe yields 6 servings



  1. Roasted Pecans
  2. 1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
  3. 2. Pour the butter into a medium bowl, and mix in the pecans. Stir until the pecans are well coated.
  4. 3. Arrange coated pecans in a single layer on one or two medium baking sheets. Sprinkle with salt.
  5. 3. Bake in the preheated oven approximately 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  6. 4. Remove from heat, cool and store in covered containers.
  7. Chicken Salad
  8. In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise with paprika and seasoned salt. Blend in dried cranberries, red rasins, celery, bell pepper, onion, and nuts. Add chopped chicken, and mix well. Season with black pepper to taste. Chill 1 hour.
