Vegetarian Chickpea Curry with Turnips

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2013
LOVED this recipe. I did not have corn available, instead I added a sweet potato, vegetable broth, parsley, and spinach. After I sauteed the onion, I added the sweet potato before the other ingredients. I let them cook a few minutes, then added just a little of white wine vinegar, mixed, then about a tablespoon of water. I put the lid on and let them cook a few minutes more. Then I added the rest of the veggies and beans. When I added the sauce, I added the veggie broth. When the potatoes and turnips were almost done (I simmered at medium low) then I added the spinach and parsley. I served over brown rice. My husband thought it was a little too sweet, but I thought it was just right. He added some extra salt to his- I added extra parsley to mine!

Delicious Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
I just made it. I needed to mash the cranberries after 15 minutes. I did grate some orange zest into it and used the fresh cinnamon stick. Taste is awesome, but it's not thick enough. I hope it continues to thicken.

The best I ever had! I used one cup of brown sugar instead of one of the cups of white. I added one cup of dried cranberries and one cup of chopped walnuts. Heaven!

Two Ingredient Pumpkin Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2012
I didn't know how to rate this because I did not make the recipe as written. After I added other ingredience, I would give it a 4.5. I didn't have spice cake, so I used a yellow cake mix. I added 2 jumbo eggs, about 1 tsp cinnamon, about 1 tsp nutmeg, about a cup of chocolate chips, splash of water and about 1/4 cup of sugar. I buttered a bundt pan and cooked it at 350 for about 45 minutes. It came out perfect and was delicious. This is a great base recipe that can be changed up in so many ways and you don't have to measure anything!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

I am going to be trying this recipe tonight. I already know I am going to love it because I love cheese. It sounds amazing. Any tips or anything before I make it? The cayenne pepper doesnt make it spicy though right?

15-Year-Old Pesto Sauce

SKIP THE SALT!!!!! The cheese has enough salt to flavor the pesto. Don't be economical with the cheese either-good italian cheese makes this sauce!!!

Broccoli-Chicken Cups

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2012
Really easy & yummy!!! Kids will love the compact package-a mini pie. Make sure to really press the biscuits into the muffin cups-they expand alot. And, I never used the cereal. Just added alittle extra cheese. I froze my extra cups individually when cooled, & pull out when needed, baking at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Even better the second time!!!!!

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Great slaw recipe! The only thing is I use a tad less sugar, but other than that everything stays the same. Goes great with my pulled pork sandwiches. I know coleslaw is pretty simple, but this one definitely does not disappoint.

Grilled Pizza Wraps

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2012
My husband and I have 5 kids and own our own business. Needless to say time is in high demand in this house. I came across this recipe and decided to give it a try. I have one thing to say: AMAZING!!! Not only was it fast to make but the entire family loved it. My favorite part: with 7 mouths to feed there are many different favorites, this allowed me to cater to everyone's taste buds very easily.
