Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2013
Made this tonight. I love it for its simplicity and quickness. Husband thought it was too chewy, but hey, he had a hot meal, did he not? Thanks for the recipe. Will use again.

Artichoke and Spinach Stuffed Shells

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2013
Friends stopped by and got to taste these shells. 4 out of 5 wanted 3rds. Used cheese suggested in recipe and it was worth it. Perfect balance of flavors. Used the basic beschemel recipe from AR and it was just right for this recipe. I din't know I could eat so many shells! So good.

This is such a refreshing, tasty tuna dish. Put on crackers, make sandwich, such a versatile recipe. Love the addition of the capers.

Paleo Chorizo Sweet Potato and Kale Stew

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2013
Very tasty if you like spice! If not, I suggest reducing the paprika just a bit and using a mild sausage. To make this soup a bit thicker, I added rice and lentil beans. Worked great!

Buffalo Chicken Wing Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2013
Made this for 2013 Superbowl and was a winner! Husband and daughter both thought it was great. They said it had flavor and just enough heat. I also enjoyed the flavor.

Garlicky Ham, Mushroom, and Spinach Frittata

Definite hit with family. Strong garlic is just right for our family. Spinach flavor is good, maybe add more mushrooms next time. Love texture, taste.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2013
Cut garlic in slivers & inserted all over pork. Everything else I did exactly the same. I thought this was ok but my husband loved it! I'm just not a huge fan of onion soup mix. Maybe I'll use fresh onions next time.

Disappointed in these cupcakes! Very dry. Not sure what I could have done differently to change the outcome. I will try another recipe next time.

Roasted Chickpeas

Daughter made these as a part of her diet program and liked them but wants to cook them longer so they are more crunchy. Flavor is good though. Will make again.

Italian Bread II

I made this for company and not a slice was left! My kids asked for it again the next morning, I didn't complain! It is so easy to make and so delicious! I changed nothing except I did not add the sesame seeds. I loved the cornmeal on the bottom.

Sausage Biscuits and Gravy

Gravy is just right. Not too thick or thin. I added some sauted mushrooms and onions. Over the Pillsbury Grand Biscuits and my southern raised husband gave it a 2 thumbs up.

Grands!® Mini Pizzas

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2013
8 and 9 yr old girls and 54 yr old woman and 57 yr old male in this household LOVED these pizzas. I made pepperoni for one girl and added mushrooms, black olives, turkey pepperoni for others and everyone was impressed. The girls commented they love the crust, not too hard and too squishy, in their words. For children going through the faze of teeth coming and going these are very welcome. The flavor of the crust was exceptional. Much better than the english muffin type. For the next sleep over these are a must.

Rice Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2013
These thighs are so moist and tasty, it is unbelievable. I used the juice to cook the rice in and everything tasted wonderful. Not too salty, just enough spice to make it interesting and meat almost melts in your mouth.

Cornish Hens the Easy Way

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2013
Family enjoyed these birds. Not very spicy so young and old could enjoy the flavor. Did need to cook for quite a bit longer than stated in recipe, but we do like a drier meat. Just a hint of of lime flavor.

Slow Cooker Creamy Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2013
My whole family really liked this soup, but it really is a bit bland. So, like many others, I made a few changes-- 1) I used leftover ham instead of bacon 2) used fat-free evaporated milk 3) used fat free half & half 4) I added garlic salt (this step helped enhance the flavor tremendously!) 5) I made a roux out of the flour and half & half before adding it to the soup at the end. All turned out a bit healthier, much tastier, potato soup!
