I cook and bake many recipes from this website, most are very good but not very often do I take the time to review. However, this cake is amazing! The baking temp threw me off a little as well - but I followed it to a "T" even placing in the freezer after. The only thing I did different was to add caramel, both to the top of the cake before frosting and also a drizzling on top of the frosting for color. Easily one of the best cakes I have ever made. Will definitely buy banana's just so they can go bad! Also - did not have buttermilk so just used the old lemon juice in regular milk trick. Thanks Cindy!!
