This cake is wonderful. The consistency is perfect. It's moist, dense, vanilla-flavored, YUM! I will definitely make this cake again. I have tried it as 2-9" round cakes, with a layer of red raspberry seedless jam and frosted with Sturdy Whipped Cream Frosting (from allrecipes). That combination was delicious. I will also try it with chocolate frosting next time. Can't go wrong with this recipe!!
