This is the best recipe for mulligatawny soup I've tried. I had no curry powder; instead I used 1 1/2 tablespoon of Patak's curry paste. I served it with avocado and fried ripe plantain slices (you find ripe plantains in latin stores; the riper, the better...). Delicious combination.
