Oh my goodness, what a treat this is! I had everything on hand to make this except for the ginger and intact lettuce leaves. I had some ginger paste in a tube that I used to get that flavor. I had to serve this as a salad on top of a platter of lettuce, and instead of cooking the green onions, I sprinkled them along with shredded carrot for color on top of the meat. It looked gorgeous and tasted even better. Surprisingly, my hubby went nuts over this and found it hard to leave any for our daughter who was at a Girl Scout meeting! Thanks for sharing this Rachel!
