I have ben loud today. Loud and my mouth runs. I did laundry AND folded the laundry. While the laundry was washing/drying, I wrote in my jurnel. My case mngr looks at my jurnel, but I still write in it as if she did not. I am making tostadas for dinner. I know, thats not very exciting. But… MORE

Tonight is the Bexar(pronounced Bear)County Libertarian Party meeting and I plan on beeing thier! If I can stay awake! Guess Terese likes me. Thats ok. She is a nice girl. It will be nice having friends who are not only into politics. Next month is Sheakspear and I cant waite! Lucky boy… MORE

I am making a french fry recipe from AR right now. It takes 30 minn. But sounds realy good! Well, one problom solved! Next months gathering will be Spanish, and after that phone call, I know one person who IS invited! Who else? MORE

I had a good day! Its realy nice out!! Temp is just right! I love "sunshine on my shoulders"! When I got home APS had left a card on my door. I keep asking for help but none yet. MABY this time? I keep looking for ways to emprove my flat. I want a coffee table, so I am going to bring in one… MORE

About Me
I was born in cadiz, Spain but was raised on the wonderfull island of Okinawa. We moved to United States in 1972 at age 8. I am learning to cook and care for my self at age 46. This IS a chalinge!!
My favorite things to cook
Wow, so many!! I love the foods of Okinawa and Spain the best but I do make mostly Mexican food. I do live about an hour away from Mexico afterall. The food of the South is great, mum's kin moved to VA in 1632. Chinese food is allso awasome!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Hmm, maby mum making real fried chicken(I dont eat chicken any more)and making greens and corn bread. Mum was from the rural South and knew how to cook! Da was from canada but I dont think he was a cook.
My cooking triumphs
Finly baked bread that was good. NOT a brick or raw. People evan asked for the recipe!
My cooking tragedies
