I recreated the recipe for my grandmother's hard boiled egg cookies by researching the ingredients online and combining the recipes until they tasted just like I remember!
My cooking tragedies
The first time I tried to make my grandmother's pizza rustica I made it too tall and it never cooked in the middle! Also, I have never mastered her delicious wheat pie, but I will some day!

Stuffed Pepper Soup IV
I made it as directed except for the thyme and sage. I used a half teaspoon of Italian seasoning blend. It's delicious the next day. The next time I make it, I'm going to make it in bulk, freeze batches before adding cooked rice, and when I'm ready to serve, add 2 cups of cooked rice to the thawed soup-a quick home-made meal when you are pressed for time.

Beet Salad with Goat Cheese
I make this recipe with only one small change-I candy almonds instead of walnuts due to nut allergy. I cheat and use pre cooked beets that I buy in a large package at Costco. The brand is "Love Beets" and I do! I do!

Spaghetti Squash I
This is far and away the most delectable recipe I've ever tried for spaghetti squash. I used a carton of grape tomatoes instead of chopping tomatoes. I also added some roasted artichoke hearts. The fresh basil and feta give this such an irresistible flavor it's hard to stop eating. We enjoyed this as a main course for meatless Monday. This is going into my regular rotation!!!!!
