I've loved cooking since I was in my 20's, when I used to have friends over for dinner and copious amounts of wine! Since then, I've enjoyed trying out new recipes when I have time off from work.
My favorite things to cook
I've always had a love of pasta, either cold or warm. But my favourite is pasta with a cream rose sauce. Not very light, but delicious.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have had the responsibility of cooking a turkey for my family on Christmas and Thanksgiving for many years now. Over the years, I've almost perfected a roast turkey. Oh, and Ribs of course.
My cooking triumphs
• Thai Red Curry Mussels. • Christmas Fruit Cake • Ribs, Ribs, Ribs and more Ribs!!! • Grilled Veggies on the BBQ • Baked, Rosemary and Olive Oil Potatoes
My cooking tragedies
Pot Roasts, Hands down. I always find a way to screw them up. I'm cursed, I tell you, CURSED!!!! I think its something personal with the Pot Roast. I think it just doesn't like me.

Turkey Brine
This recipe made me look like a ROCKSTAR!!!! It made a complete difference in the moisture of the meat. My 15 guests were blown away at how tasty it was, compared to the normal butterball (which is good), but brining is a game changer. Thank You!!

Shrimp and Asparagus Fettuccine
WOW, I just made this for the kids and my wife. Fantastic. The kids loved it, particularly when I added more cheese on their plates. I made this dish with chicken instead of shrimp, and added some cilantro to the end. Turned out great. The timing is a little tricky for an amateur like me, but the result was great. Thanks!

Teena's Spicy Pesto Chicken and Pasta
Absolutley loved this. I added portobello mushrooms to it with a splash of Vodka and a little cream cheese to make it a cream sauce. Fantastic!!!!
