About this Cook
My husband and I have been traveling on our motorcycles and keeping photo journals for years and our passion for traveling the United States on two wheels continues to grow each and every year. Cooking is like taking a valium. Nothing is more enjoyable than to create something yummy and watch my family enjoy it. I love looking for new adventures in cooking - but never get tired of all the food that I grew up with. My mom has always been a great cook - of course she never measures anything! Playing with our new grandson, riding my motorcycle, shooting photos with my incredible camera, and cooking top the list of my favorite things to do.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook pies, mostly because everyone (especially my husband) just raves about my crust.
My favorite family cooking traditions
EATING all the great food we cook when we get together!
My cooking triumphs
My coconut and chocolate cream pies with meringue on top! Had never tried these two All-American favorites so I just jumped in with both feet and WOW! Scared myself they were so good on my first try.
My cooking tragedies
Oh, there has been soooooooo many - I wouldn't even know where to start. I get so busy doing this and that in the kitchen that I sometimes burn things. My husband says I can burn water!
