Cooking is like taking a valium. Nothing is more enjoyable than to create something yummy and watch my family enjoy it. I love looking for new adventures in cooking - but never get tired of all the food that I grew up with. My mom has always been a great cook - of course she never measures anything!

My cooking triumphs
My coconut and chocolate cream pies with meringue on top! Had never tried these two All-American favorites so I just jumped in with both feet and WOW! Scared myself they were so good on my first try.

Oh, there has been soooooooo many - I wouldn't even know where to start. I get so busy doing this and that in the kitchen that I sometimes burn things. My husband says I can burn water!
