As it always seems I wonder where I was when this recipe was posted. It is excellent! As always I tend to have a few changes to make depending on ingredients on hand. I had fresh tomatillos and jalapenos on hand so I boiled those and cut and diced them into the chili along with the tomatillo juice. I cooked one of my chickens that I had processed so it took longer to make the dish but the chicken was delicious. I then added them to the onions and garlic. I found with the tomatillo juice that I did not need the additional chicken broth which was good as I was trying to go low sodium. I then added in one can of corn (not fresh corn season), 1 can roasted and diced tomatoes, 1 can butterbeans (on hand in the pantry-in place of white beans), and all the listed spices. The whole family loved it and it will be definitely be on the regular rotation.
