Quite good and very easy to make. We added some mushrooms and it came out wonderful. This is a great go-to recipe for weeknights. Even the kids enjoyed it.

Elbows Mac and Cheese with Tuscan Herb Sauce

Great easy to make recipe. Would be okay to substitute other cheeses if you do not have fontina on hand. Was awesome to heat up after too.

We made these for Easter weekend. They were quick and easy. They also heat up very well after the fact, so they are wonderful to make ahead of time!!!

Spicy Sausage Pasta Alfredo

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2013
Not my favorite. I really enjoyed the sausage in this, but I did not enjoy the peppers. I think next time I would nix the peppers and add more mushrooms just because that is what my family enjoys. I also did not use wine. Overall it was an ok recipe tho. I think I might enjoy it more with some homemade sauce. The jarred sauce I chose was on the bland side so I should have added some more salt and pepper and other spices.

Butterscotch Haystacks

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2012
Similar to a recipe my mother made when I was a kid using chocolate this sweeter recipe was AWESOME.. the marshmallows added some 'chew" while the chow mein gave the 'crunch' factor. We could not keep our kitchen stocked with these over the holiday!!! We even left some for Santa!

Ultra Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2012
Made these for Thanksgiving. They were so rich and creamy, even days later. They were perfect for dinner AND left over sandwiches. Super easy to make and super delicious. I finally found the recipe I was looking for!

Quick and Flavorful Vegetables

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2012
This was the first time I used the Flavor Boost. I never really think of adding broth to veggies. I will from now on! My kids ate them like they were going out of style.

Caramelized French Toast

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2012
I really wish I had read reviews before I made this. The caramel sauce DID NOT WORK. Had I stopped before I added the water it would have been fine. But I didn't, I decided to follow the recipe to the end and add the water (even tho I had a perfect sauce for drizzling) and the water caused my caramel to seize. Bummer. Maybe the original author can amend the recipe? A beginner baker/cook could really get confused by this.

Barbecued Chicken Calzones

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2012
Quick and easy to make... But it also tasted like it. Not saying I wouldn't make it again. I probably would actually make it again..... just not for company or anything. My kids said they tasted like non greasy hot pockets.

Frozen Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2012
Not my favorite to this day. Peanut Butter pie to me is very traditional but I wanted to try the banana in it. I wasn't a fan. It really should be a clean smooth silky texture which this pie really did not have. It just was not to my liking.

Chicken and Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2012
I made this for my family and I felt like a ROCKSTAR!!! It was easy to make and the directions go in perfect order. The only thing I changed was I cut in Mozzarella cheese with the Cheddar cheese because I ran out of cheese. My kids thought it was amazing and the adults begged for more. The perfect fall soup for my family!

No Beans About It - Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2012
My family enjoyed this recipe. I did not have any red wine vinegar and realized it a little too late. So I just put about 3 tbs of regular vinegar in. Worked like a charm. this is a nice thick recipe that is fabulous over rice. Kids and adults enjoyed it!!!

Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2012
The family enjoyed this. I gave it a 3 because the hubby loved it... the kids and I LIKED it. It was a thick sauce... but could have been more flavorful. I think it needed more salt or garlic or something. I just hated to add MORE salt because the Progresso already has a bunch in it.

Easy Weeknight Creamy Chicken Alfredo

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2012
I have ALWAYS been afraid to make Chicken Alfredo. This was so EASY. One substitution I did make was I used sour cream instead of whipping cream or half and half because that is what I had in my fridge. The whole family LOVED it. We got 8 servings out of it. I ate it 3 nights in a row and it was wonderful heated up. I highly suggest this recipe!!!

Italian Chicken Sausage Stuffed Portabellas

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2012
I made this last night and thought it was awesome. The Alfresco sausage had just the right snap to it. The only thing I would be more careful next time is drying out the mushrooms more!!!

Easy Never Forgotten Guacamole

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2012
Very easy to make for my first time!! I was shocked. I used the Kitchen Aid rather than mixing it by hand which made it go super fast. Love the taste although I added some cayenne to kick it up just a touch!! Awesome recipe :)
