Italian,Asian,French and traditional Scandinavian cooking.
My favourite "chef" and cookbook- writer is Anna del Conte and the Norwegian chefs Bent Stiansen and Eivind Hellstrøm.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Marzipan for Christmas- I have made that in about 45 years now. The rib of pork on christmas eve is always fun- how crispy will the rind be this year?
And I love my husband Peters tomato soup, it is always perfect.
My cooking triumphs
Bucatini with lobster.
Tajarin with mushroom sauce.
Glazed breast of duck with spinach,peach and a crisp,yet savoury asian style roll, filled with walnuts, figs etc.
My cooking tragedies
A raw leg of lamb for easter, I forgot to check the oven temperature !!
Burnt bechamella sauce for lasagna and many more tragic events during my years as a home cook.
